Provider Resources, Inc.’s (PRI’s) Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Division is guided by a Beneficiary and Family Centered Care (BFCC) QIO Governing Board of Directors consisting of nine members. Each member serves for a term of three years, with a six-year cap on consecutive years of service in order to ensure new and different perspectives. The BFCC-QIO Governing Board of Directors was appointed on October 1, 2019, for a three-year term, and new appointments are made as terms end or when there are vacancies. Ten percent of the governing Board is typically appointed each year. Compensation for each member is $1,000 for each in-person meeting and $500 for each remote meeting, plus reimbursement for travel and lodging.
Tasked with the responsibilities of oversight of the QIO Program, contract compliance, and corporate compliance, Board members provide key insights from their respective backgrounds and drive continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes. This, in turn, leads to effective changes and improvements that are person-centered. Board members act as a conduit of knowledge about the BFCC-QIO program across their networks and spheres of influence.
